Otherwise have announced today that they have begun recording a new record in their hometown of Las Vegas that will be due out sometime later summer. The band has also announced that their sophomore album will be titled Peace At All Costs and will be released on Century Media Records as their first album was. Otherwise’s debut album, True Love Never Dies was released back in 2012 and saw numerous chart topping singles on the active radio rock charts such as “Soldiers,” “I Don’t Apologize (1000 Pictures),” and most recently “Die For You.”

Besides having this great commercial success on the radio waves, Otherwise were arguably one of hardest working bands on the tour circuit last year. 2013 some them touring the states relentlessly with everyone from Stone Sour, Sevendust, and Filter. Just recently the band recently released a free EP titled Enjoy the Pain which featured several acoustic remakes of songs from True Love Never Dies but also featured a few new tracks to hold fans over while they worked on their sophomore album. Adrian Patrick, lead singer of Otherwise, made this public statement today regarding the upcoming album :

“We’ve always felt different from other bands; not just as performers but as people, also. Being in the studio with an elite producer like David Bottrill, knowing his impressively diverse resume & discerning taste in the artists he chooses to work with, only reinforces our resolve. Our next album, ‘Peace At All Costs,’ will prove what we are capable of.”

Otherwise was frequently featured on Sight of Sound last year and have always been supportive of what we do here. We are looking forward to finding out more information about this upcoming release but until then we want to do a throwback gallery to the last time we caught up with the “Wise Guys” back in October on their run with Fitler :
